Un petit challenge celui-là ! Je savais qu'il me prendrait du temps mais je ne m'en suis pas lassée une seconde.
Assemblé en mai, ce n'est que ces jours-ci que je suis allée visiter le compte de l'illustratrice, Yuko Shimizu.
Grosse erreur ! Je suis complètement amoureuse de son travail.
Et petit truc rigolo, j'ai découvert qu'elle avait réalisé l'affiche du Festival du Court Métrage 2021 de Clermont-Ferrand (chez moi).
Si un jour je croise le chemin de Starbright, un 500 pièces chez NYPC,
je n'hésiterai pas une seconde. Mais il n'a pas l'air disponible de ce côté de l'Atlantique 😭

My first Fred puzzle! 🎉 I fell in love with the art instantly when I saw it online, I just had to have it! 😍

The pieces are good quality, a little puffy, a nice smooth matte texture. The same matte finish is on the medium size sturdy box too! 🙌🏽

I would say this one was a medium difficulty puzzle. The boat in clearly the easiest part, followed by the flowers and lily pads, which I was able to assemble by taking notice of the different shades of pink and green. But the water... the water was pretty difficult! 😂 You'd think "follow the lines from the waves" and that's true... to some extent. 😳😅 It took me a while to figure out that I could also go at it by the very subtil color *inside* the slim waves. Yeah, not easy, but a beautiful challenge!

Puzzle dust was minimal, and disassembly was easy peasy. 🤩 It really photographed nicely, too! Can't get enough of that matte finish! I'll be looking out for other Fred puzzles, I've got my eye on Fanfuckintastic 😂 in particular, and the Temple one looks absolutely stunning! 😍
